THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1130 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTY

   IN THE WEST CENTRAL PART OF IOWA
      WESTERN CRAWFORD

AT 1158 PM...WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 60
MILES NORTHEAST OF COUNCIL BLUFFS IN WEST CENTRAL IOWA.
THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 TO 45 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL
BE AFFECTING THE TOWNS OF CHARTER OAK...RICKETTS AND DENISON.

REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MILES
AN HOUR...LARGE HAIL...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAINS.
FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
OF YOU HOME OR BUSINESS.  HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DO NOT
DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
