THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 330 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY
IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL PART OF IOWA
UNION
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR IS OCCURRING.
TAKE THE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS IMMEDIATELY.
AT 125 PM...A SHERIFF DEPUTY IN UNION COUNTY REPORTED ROADS
CLOSED DUE TO HIGH WATER. UP TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAS FELL
OVER THIS BASIN SINCE THIS MORNING.
PEOPLE LIVING IN LOWLYING AREAS ALONG RIVERS AND STREAMS SHOULD
SEEK HIGHER GROUNDS IMMEDIATELY.
