THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 630 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE PANHANDLE OF NEBRASKA
      SOUTHERN DAWES

AT 555 PM MDT...A TORNADO WAS INDICATED BY RADAR 15 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF CHADRON NEBRASKA...ALONG THE PINE RIDGE 12 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
CRAWFORD.  THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR.

THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE CHADRON STATE PARK RECREATION AREA.

THIS WARNING REPLACES THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING ISSUED
PREVIOUSLY FOR DAWES COUNTY AND THE CITY OF CHADRON.

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...FIND SHELTER IN A NEARBY REINFORCED
BUILDING.  AS A LAST RESORT...TAKE SHELTER IN A CULVERT...DITCH OR
LOW SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS.
