URBAN FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1145 AM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...

IN NORTHWEST OHIO

AT 825 AM EST A RESIDENT OF POINT PLACE NEAR SHORELAND AND SUMMIT
STREETS REPORTED RISING FLOOD WATERS NEAR HER HOME. THE LUCAS COUNTY
SHERRIFF`S  OFFICE ALSO REPORTED STREET FLOODING IN OREGON ALONG
SEAMAN ROAD.  RAIN... HEAVY AT TIMES... ALONG WITH ABNORMALLY HIGH
WATER LEVELS IN THE WESTERN BASIN OF LAKE ERIE WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE
FLOODING THIS MORNING IN EASTERN LUCAS COUNTY.  FLOODING WILL CONTINUE
THROUGHOUT THIS MORNING.  RESIDENTS IN FLOOD PRONE AREAS SHOULD BEGIN
TO TAKE PROTECTIVE ACTIONS TO REDUCE LOSS OF PROPERTY.  ALSO... BE
PREPARED TO LEAVE BEFORE FLOOD WATERS BLOCK YOUR EXIT.



DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
