THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES

   IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK
      SOUTHERN LEWIS

AT 1215 AM EDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WAS LOCATED OVER SOUTHERN LEWIS
COUNTY NEAR LYONS FALLS.  THIS STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 30 MILES
AN HOUR AND WILL MOVE INTO HERKIMER COUNTY BY 100 AM EDT.
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SEEK SHELTER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
STAY INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
