THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS EXTENDED THE FLOOD WARNING FOR SMALL
STREAM FLOODING AND SIGNIFICANT URBAN FLOODING FOR THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES OF MASSACHUSETTS...SUFFOLK...EXTREME SOUTHEAST WORCESTER...
MIDDLESEX...WESTERN NORFOLK...AND ESSEX.

A FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS EITHER OCCURRING...OR IS
IMMINENT.  ALL PERSONS IN FLOOD-PRONE AREAS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE
ACTION.

HEAVY RAINS SHOULD ABATE BY 3 OR 4 AM. SMALL STREAMS WHICH ARE NEAR
BANK FULL AT 1 AM MAY GO INTO FLOOD BEFORE THE HEAVY RAINS END EARLYr
TODAY.

FLOOD STATEMENTS WILL BE ISSUED TO ELABORATE ON THE FLOOD SITUATION.
