000 TTAA00 KBHM 040141 TORBHM ALC073-040230- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BIRMINGHAM AL 741 PM CST SAT FEB 3 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 830 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTH ALABAMA ...JEFFERSON COUNTY THE TORNADO WARNING ISSUED EARLIER FOR JEFFERSON COUNTY IS BEING EXTENDED. JEFFERSON COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE HAS REPORTED TREES DOWN AND POWER OUT IN THE HOUGHTON ROAD/TAYLORS FERRY ROAD AREA OF WESTERN JEFFERSON COUNTY. IN THE BAY VIEW AREA...STORM SPOTTERS REPORTED A LOUD ROARING SOUND. ON THE PRESENT PATH THE STORM RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE REPORTS AND THE POSSIBLE DAMAGE WILL MOVE NORTHEAST THROUGH THE CITY OF BIRMINGHAM.
