THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE NORTH CENTRAL PART OF NORTH DAKOTA
      NORTHEAST WARD

INCLUDING THE CITY OF MINOT.

AT 725 PM CDT RADAR AND PUBLIC REPORTS INDICATED A TORNADO 15 MILES
NORTHWEST OF THE CITY OF MINOT. THE TORNADO WAS MOVING TO THE
SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO...GO TO A BASEMENT SHELTER
IF AVAILABLE...OTHERWISE TO A CENTRAL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR...STAY AWAY FROM WIQNDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES.

THIS STORM IS ACCOMPANIED BY DANGEROUS LIGHTNING...LARGE HAIL...
VERY HEAVY RAIN...AND DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WINDS.

THIS STORM MAY ALSO CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS AND
UNDERPASSES.
