THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 915 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE NORTHWEST PART OF LOWER MICHIGAN
      EASTERN ANTRIM

AT 830 PM EDT A HAM RADIO OPERATOR REPORTED A TORNADO TOUCHDOWN
NEAR ELK LAKE.  THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 35 MILES
AN HOUR AND WAS CURRENTLY LOCATED JUST SOUTH OF THE TOWN OF ALBA.

A BASEMENT.  GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
