THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1015 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY

   IN THE NORTH CENTRAL PART OF LOWER MICHIGAN
      NORTH CENTRAL EAST MISSAUKEE

AT  915 PM EDT AN AREA OF RAPIDLY DEVELOPING SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
WAS MOVING THROUGH KALKASKA COUNTY INTO NORTH CENTRAL AND EASTERN
MISSAUKEE COUNTY.  THE CLUSTER OF SEVERE STORMS WAS MOVING
RAPIDLY SOUTHEAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH...
DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY qLIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR
PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR
HOME OR BUSINESS. HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DON'T DRIVE
INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
