THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 500 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY

   IN THE SOUTHWEST PART OF MISSOURI
      MCDONALD

AT 415 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A LINE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM
35 MILES WEST OF SPRINGFIELD TO 40 MILES SOUTH OF JOPLIN MOVING
TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 35 MILES PER HOUR. 3/4 INCH HAIL WAS REPORTED
AT PINEVILLE OR 35 MILES SOUTH OF JOPLIN.

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...FIND SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
STAY INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
