SMALL STREAM AND URBAN FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
 
IN WEST CENTRAL NEW JERSEY
          ...MERCER
 
HEAVY RAIN IN EXCESS OF 2 INCHES HAS FALLEN IN SECTIONS OF MERCER
COUNTY DURING THE PAST HOUR...AND STREAM LEVELS ARE RAPIDLY RISING.
THE AUTOMATIC STREAM GAGE ON THE ASSUNPINK CREEK IN TRENTON WAS
REPORTING A LEVEL OF 7.04 FEET. THE FLOOD STAGE ON THE ASSUNPINK CREEK
AT TRENTON IS 7.00 FEET. THE STREAM IS EXPECTED TO CREST BETWEEN 8.0
AND 8.5 FEET BETWEEN 1030 AND 1130 PM EARLY TONIGHT...AND THEN BEGIN
TO RAPIDLY SUBSIDE AROUND MIDNIGHT.
 
 
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNED COUNTY IN AN AREA SUBJECT TO FLOODING
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.  DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOOD WATERS.
CLIMBING ATOP YOUR STALLED VEHICLE WILL NOT PREVENT YOU FROM
BEING SWEPT INTO DANGEROUS STREAM CONDITIONS AS WATER LEVELS RISE.
