000 TTAA00 KOKC 061909 SVROKC OKC011-062015- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OKLAHOMA CITY OK 207 PM CDT TUE JUN 6 1989 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN OKLAHOMA CITY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 315 PM CDT FOR THE FOLLOWING OKLAHOMA LOCATIONS... IN NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA ...BLAINE COUNTY AT 205 PM RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM 11 MILES SOUTHWEST TO OKEENE TO 20 MILES WEST OF WATONGA. MOVEMENT OF THE LINE IS TOWARD THE EAST SOUTHEAST AT 10 MILES AN HOUR. THESE STORMS ARE CAPABLE OF HAIL UP TO QUARTER SIZE. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
