THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1045 PM CST FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES IN NORTHEAST
MISSISSIPPI...ITAWAMBA

AT 1015 PM CST...TUPELO NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR WAS INDICATING
A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ENTERING EXTREME WEST CENTRAL ITAWAMBA COUNTY 
AND WAS MOVING TO THE EAST NORTHEAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WIND SPEEDS OF 58 MILES
AN HOUR OR HIGHER...DIME SIZED HAIL OR LARGER AND DANGEROUS
LIGHTNING. YOU SHOULDM BE PREPARED TO TAKE QUICK ACTION IF THREATENING
WEATHER APPROCHES.
