THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ST LOUIS HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 830 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
IN NORTHEAST MISSOURI
...CLARK
AT 740 PM CDT...STATE POLICE WERE INVESTIGATING A TORNADO NEAR KAHOKA
IN CLARK COUNTY OF NORTHEAST MISSOURI. THE TORNADO WARNING ISSUED
EARLIER WILL BE EXTENDED UNTIL 830 PM CDT. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TO
THE SOUTHEAST AROUND 10 MPH.
AT 740 PM CDT...CIVIL DEFENSE DIRECTOR REPORTED A TORNADO ABOUT 10
MILES NORTHWEST OF KAHOKA.
KAHOKA IS ABOUT 45 MILES NORTHEAST OF KIRKSVILLE.
IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A
BASEMENT. GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
