THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES

   IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK
      EASTERN NIAGARA...ORLEANS

AT 445 PM A FUNNEL CLOUD WAS REPORTED BY THE PUBLIC AT NEWFANE IN
NIAGARA COUNTY.  LARGE TREES AND MANY POWER LINES WERE DOWNED.
THE STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST SOUTHEAST AT 60 MILES AN HOUR.

BE ON THE ALERT FOR TORNADOES OR THUNDERSTORMS ACCOMPANIED BY
FREQUENT LIGHTNING...STRONG DAMAGING WIND AND LARGE HAIL.  LOCALLY
HE+AVY RAIN MAY ALSO CAUSE DRAINAGE FLOODING.
