THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
AND SPECIAL MARINE WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 200 PM EDT FOR 
PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF LOWER MICHIGAN
      NORTHERN ALCONA

...THIS WARNING ALSO INCLUDES THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS FOR THE
COUNTY JUST MENTIONED

AT 1255 PM EDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN NORTHEAST
OSCODA COUNTY ABOUT 2 MILES EAST OF FAIRVIEW....OR ABOUT 30 MILES
SOUTHWEST OF ALPENA. IT WAS MOVING EAST AROUND 45 MPH AND SHOULD BE
MOVING INTO ALCONA COUNTY AROUND 110 PM EDT.

IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM..GO TO A REINFORECED
SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY
RAIN AND LIGHTNING.

REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND SOMETIMES DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING...SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT.
