THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  245 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...

IN CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI
          ...SOUTHERN RANKIN

RADAR INDICATES THAT THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM THAT A WARNING WAS
ISSUED FOR A FEW MINUTES AGO HAS INTENSIFIED AND IS PRODUCING A
TORNADO.  THE TORNADO IS LOCATED BETWEEN STAR AND CATO AND IS MOVING
TOWARD THE EAST NORTHEAST AT 60 MPH.  ON ITS PRESENT TRACK THE STORM
SHOULD PASS NEAR OR JUST NORTH OF PUCKETT.      IF YO
U ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A
BASEMEN	T.  GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
IF NO BASEMENT IS AVAILABLE...SEEK SHELTER IN AN INTERIOR ROOM
SUCH AS A CLOSET ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.  USE BLANKETS...PILLOWS...
