000 TTAA00 KPHL 222009 SVRPHL NJC033-015-222045- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PHILADELPHIA PA 409 PM EDT TUE SEP 22 1987 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 445 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF SOUTHWEST NEW JERSEY...NORTHERN SALEM AND WESTERN GLOUCESTER AT 406 PM EDT 3/4 INCH HAIL WAS REPORTED IN PENNS GROVE NEW JERSEY. THE STORM PRODUCING THIS HAIL WAS MOVING EAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM AND PEOPLE IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR STRONG DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN AND LIGHTNING. SHOULD THE STORM APPROACH YOU...SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES ARE MOST VULNERABLE TO HIGH WINDS AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED. DPG
