THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 730 PM EDT FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF
 
SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY... ATLANTIC... CAPE MAY
 
...AND ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.
                                                                         
AT 6 25 PM EDT RADAR SHOWED A CLUSTER OF VERY HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS IN  
THE POMONA AREA OF ATLANTIC COUNTY. 
THEY WERE MOVING SOUTH AT 30 TO 35 MILES AN HOUR. 
THIS CANCELS THE TORNADO WARNING THAT WAS SENT IN ERROR. 
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM AND PEOPLE IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD
PREPARE FOR STRONG DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN
AND LIGHTNING.  SHOULD THE STORM APPROACH YOU...SEEK IMMEDIATE
SHEL)TER.  MOBILE TRAILERS ARE MOST VULNERABLE TO HIGH WINDS AND
SHOULD BE AVOIDED.
