THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 540 PM EDT FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF
SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY... BURLINGTON
...AND ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.
AT 430 THIS AFTERNOON...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS BEING OBSERVED
5 MILES NORTH OF BATSTO. THIS STORM WAS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHEAST
AT AROUND 25 MILES AN HOUR.
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM AND PEOPLE IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD
PREPARE FOR STRONG DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN
AND LIGHTNING. SHOULD THE STORM APPROACH YOU...SEEK IMMEDIATE
SHELTER. MOBILE TRAILERS ARE MOST VULNERABLE TO HIGH WINDS AND
SHOULD BE AVOIDED.
