THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 540 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...EASTERN HENNEPIN...EASTERN ANOKA AND RAMSEY


AT 510 PM HENNIPEN COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTED A TORNADO ON THE
GROUND IN THE CITY OF SPRING LAKE PARK ABOUT 10 MILES NORH OF
DOWNTOWN MINNEAPOLIS MOVING EAST AT ABOUT 30 MILKES AN HOUR.
CITIES IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO ARE MOUNDS VIEW AND SHOREVIEW
AND ARDEN HILLS.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE IN
THE PATH OF A TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE.
OTHERWISE..GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
POSSIBLE.  AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A
REINFORCED BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVE*RT.
