THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS EXTENDED THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING
UNTIL 1000 PM CDT FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...

IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA
         ...EASTERN ESCAMBIA...EASTERN CONECUH

WEATHER SERVICE RADARS SHOW A PERSISTENT BAND OF RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS
OVER EASTERN CONECUH AND ESCAMBIA COUNTIES EAST OF US HIGHWAY 31.
SATELLITE DATA INDICATES THAT AS MUCH AS 5.4 INCHES COULD HAVE
FALLEN SINCE 6PM.  AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES IS POSSIBLE DURING
THE NEXT HOUR.

THE WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR THAT PART OF CONECUH AND ESCAMBIA EAST
OF INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 65.
MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED NOT TO DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED ROADWAYS.

RESIDENTS ALONG MURDER CREEK AND THE CONECUH RIVER SHOULD BE ALERT
FOR RAPID RISES IN THOSE STREAMS AND DO NOT HESITATE TO LEAVE.
