000 TTAA00 KPIA 010250 SVRPIA ILC179-203-010345- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PEORIA IL 950 PM CDT SUN MAY 31 1987 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1045 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF CENTRAL ILLINOIS...NORTHEAST TAZEWELL AND WOODFORD AT 940 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN WOODFORD COUNTY ILLINOIS NEAR EUREKA AND IN TAZEWELL COUNTY NEAR WASHINGTON. HAIL IS INDICATED WITH THESE STORMS. THEY ARE MOVING NORTHEAST AT ABOUT 30 MPH. TOWNS IN THE PATH OF THE STORMS ARE ROANOKE...BENSON...AND MINONK. IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM..GO TO A REINFORECED SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN AND LIGHTNING. INTENSE LIGHTNING IS REPORTED WITH THIS STORM.
