THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 335 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF

SOUTHWEST LOWER MICHIGAN...NORTHERN KALAMAZOO

AT 255 PM EDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER NORTHERN
KALAMAZOO COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST LOWER MICHIGAN. THE SEVERE THUNDER-
STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH. PERSONS IN THE CITIES OF PARCHMENT
RICHLAND AND THE GULL LAKE AREA SHOULD TAKE COVER NOW.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MAY SPAWN FUNNEL CLOUDS OR TORNADOES. WHEN A
FUNNEL CLOUD REACHES THEH GROUND IT BECOMES A TORNADO. IF A FUNNEL
CLOUD IS SIGHTED...TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY AS YOU WOULD WITH A
TORNADO. YOUR LIFE MAY DEPEND ON IT.
