THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 300 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES OF

SOUTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA...DICKEY AND SOUTHERN LA MOURE

INCLUDING THE CITIES OF FORBES..ELLENDALE..OAKES..KULM..LAMOURE.
AT 200AM CDT RADAR INDICATED SEVERAL SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MOVING
INTO SOUTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA.  ONE STORM WAS 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
OAKES NORTH DAKOTA AND ANOTHER WAS MOVING INTO WEST DICKEY COUNTY.
THE STORM MOVING INTO WEST DICKEY COUNTY HAS HAD A LONG HISTORY
OF SEVERE WEATHER INCLUDING LARGE HAIL.

REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 58 MPH AND/OR HAIL 3/4 INCH OR LARGER...DEADLY LIGHTNING...
AND HEAVY RAINS THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY.
