THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1040 PM CDT FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF
 
SOUTHWEST KANSAS... FINNEY... GRANT... EASTERN KEARNY
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED FROM 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF GARDEN CITY
IN FINNEY COUNTY INTO SOUTHERN KEARNY COUNTY AND SOUTH TO JUST WEST OF
ULYSSES IN GRANT COUNTY. MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

THE THUNDERSTORMS SOUTHWEST OF GARDENCITY HAD THE POTENTIAL FOR LARGE
HAIL VERY SOON AND PROBABLY WILL OVER OTHER AREAS ALSO.
