THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 500 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN...SOUTHWEST POLK AND NORTHWEST ST CROIX

AT..RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ALONG
THE ST CROIX RIVER IN THE STILLWATER AREA OF EXTREME EAST
CENTRAL MINNESOTA. EARLIER LARGE HAIL UP TO TENNIS BALL SIZE
WAS REPORTED IN THE INVER GROVE HEIGHTS AREA OF EASTERN DAKOTA
COUNTY.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING RAPIDLY NORTHEAST AT 45 MILES
AN HOUR.

REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE STRONG DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE
HAIL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES. ALSO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN
AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE
WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF
SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.
