THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

NORTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN...CLARK AND TAYLOR

AT 659 WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR THORP OR
29 MILES EAST OF EAU CLAIRE MOVING EAST NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. THIS
STORM WILL AFFECT MAINLY NORTHERN CLARK AND ALL OF TAYLOR COUNTIES
ESPECIALLY OWEN...HANNIBAL AND MEDFORD.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN GENERATE STRONG WINDS WHICH CAUSE OBJECTS TO
BECOME DEADLY AIRBORNE MISSILES.  WIND DRoIVEN HAIL OF ANY SIZE CAN
CAUSE INJURY OR EVEN DEATH. TAKE SHELTER WHEN WEATHER IS THREATENING.
