SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MINNEAPOLIS MN

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 100 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN...EASTERN POLK AND WESTERN BARRON

AT 1200 AM RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER NORTHERN
POLK COUNTY OF WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN.  THIS STORM HAS THE
POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE LARGE DAMAGING HAIL AND POWERFUL DESTRUCTIVE
WINDS.  MOVEMENT WAS TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH .  CITIES INCLUDED
IN THIS WARNING ARE LORAINE OF POLK COUNTY AND BARRON OF BARRON
COUNTY OF WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN.  THIS STORM SHOULD REACH
LORAINE BY ABOUT 1215 AM TO 1230 AM...AND REACH BARRON BY ABOUT
1230 AM TO 1245 AM.

REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE STRONG DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE
HAIL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES. ALSO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN
AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE
WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF
SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.
