THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 400 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF
CENTRAL  MINNESOTA...EASTERN SHERBURNE INCLUDING THE CITIES OF BIG
LAKE..ELK RIVER AND ZIMMERMAN.

AT 255 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED AN INTENSE THUNDERSTORM LOCATED IN
EASTERN SHERBURNE COUNTY..20 MILES SOUTHEAST OF ST. CLOUD. MOVEMENT
OF THIS INTENSE THUNDERSTORM IS EAST AT 20 MPH.

LARGE HAIL..DANGEROUS LIGHTNING..HEAVY RAINFALL..AND DAMAGING WINDS
CAN BE EXPECTED FROM SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.

PERSONS IN LOW LYING AREAS SHOULD BE AWARE OF RAPIDLY RISING STREAMS
DUE TO VERY HEAVY RAINFALL IN SHORT TIME PERIODS.
