THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 530 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN...MILWAUKEE

AT 230 PM...MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN CONTINUED OVER MUCH OF
MILWAUKEE COUNTY.  NEARLY 6 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN AT
MILWAUKEE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT SINCE 7 AM CDT.

MILWAUKEE COUNTY SHERIFF/S DEPARTMENT REPORTED MANY STREETS
AND UNDERPASSES FLOODED.   WAIST DEEP WATER WAS REPORTED ON
PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE CITY OF
MILWAUKEE.

MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE IN MILWAUKEE COUNTY FOR
THE NEXT FEW HOURS..WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR YET ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL ACCUMULATION.

IF YOU ARE IN YOUR CAR AND IT STALLS NEAR A RIVER..ABANDON IT AND
FLEE TO HIGHER GROUND. DONT ATTEMPT CROSSING SWOLLEN STREAMS.
CURRENTS AND RAPIDLY RISING WATER CAN SWEEP YOU OFF YOUR FEET.
