THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO AND SPECIAL
MARINE WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE
FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

EXTREME SOUTH FLORIDA...NORTHEAST MONROE NORTH OF CRAIG KEY
...THIS WARNING ALSO INCLUDES THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS FOR THE
COUNTY JUST MENTIONED

  AT 540 AM EDT THE SHERIFF OFFICE IN PLANTATION KEY IN THE FLORIDA
 KEYS REPORTED A TORNADO TOUCHDOWN IN A TRAILER PART NEAR MILE
 MARKER 98. THE TORNADO WAS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH. ITS SPEED WAS
 UNKNOWN. CONDITIONS REMAIN FAVORABLE FOR A ADDITONAL TORNADOES OR
 WATERSPOUTS DURING THE NEXT ONE OR TWO HOURS.
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR.

THIS STORM IS ACCOMPANIED BY FREQUENT AND INTENSE LIGHTNING AND
STRONG GUSTY WIND WITH LOCALLY HIGH SEAS.
