THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  330 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES:
 
IN SOUTH FLORIDA
          ..WESTERN COLLIER AND ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS

AT 225 PM EDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS REPORTED BY THE NAPLES
SHERIFFS OFFICE NEAR THE MARCO ISLAND AIRPORT. LARGE HAIL WAS
REPORTED AT THIS LOCATION. RADAR INDICATES THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE
MOVING WEST AT 10 TO 15 MPH.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH,
DESTRUCTIVE HAIL, DEADLY LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.  FOR YOUR
PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR
HOME OR BUSINESS.  HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DON'T DRIVE
INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
