000 TTAA00 KMIA 212206 SVRMIA FLC011-025-212300- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND SPECIAL MARINE WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIAMI FL 606 PM EDT WED MAY 21 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND SPECIAL MARINE WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF SOUTHEAST FLORIDA...BROWARD AND DADE ...THIS WARNING ALSO INCLUDES THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS FOR THE COUNTIES JUST MENTIONED THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL 7 PM EDT FOR BROWARD AND DADE COUNTIES. AT 6PM SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE IN PROGRESS OVER NORTH DADE AND SOUTH BROWARD COUNTIES. OTHER STORMS OVER THE AREA ALSO COULD BECOME SEVERE WITHIN THE NEXT HOUR OR SO. THESE STORMS ARE MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH AND WILL BE AFFECTING FORT LAUDERDALE..HOLLYWOOD..HIALEAH..MIAMI..AND CENTRAL DADE COUNTY AREAS WITH HAIL..STRONG WIND GUSTS FROM THE WEST OR NORTHWEST..HEAVY DOWNPOURS..AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING. THE STORMS WILL MOVE EAST OVER THE BROWARD AND DADE COASTAL WATERS. RESIDENTS..MOTORISTS..AND BOATERS SHOULD AVOID THE STORMS AND WAIT IN A SAFE AREA UNTIL THEY PASS.
