THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1045 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES:
 
IN NORTHWEST TEXAS
          ..DAWSON..GAINES
IN SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO
          ..LEA
IN SOUTHWEST TEXAS
          ..REEVES

RADAT CONTINUES TO SHOW MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL IN THE WARNING
AREA. TWO INCHES OF RAIN WAS REPORTED AT SARAGOSA IN REEVES COUNTY.
THE THUNDERSTORMS CONTIUE TO DEVELOP IN THE WARNING AREA AND MOVE TO
THE NORTHWEST ABOUT 15 MPH.
 
THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING NO LONGER INCLUDES BORDEN COUNTY.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES, DIPS, OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER CO"VERS THE
ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM, EVEN A SMALL ONE,
ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
