EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 AM CDT FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF
 
SOUTHWEST ILLINOIS... MONROE
 
EAST CENTRAL MISSOURI... FRANKLIN... JEFFERSON
                                                                         
HEAVY RAIN CONTINUES IN THE WARNED COUNTIES. OVER 5 INCHES OF RAIN  
HAVE FALLEN IN THESE COUNTIES SINCE MIDNIGHT AND WIDESPREAD FLOODING 
OF LOW SPOTS CAN BE EXPECTED. SMALLER CREEKS AND TRIBUTARIES OF THE  
MERAMEC WILL ALSO BE RISING RAPIDLY.  
 
PERSONS IN THESE COUNTIES SHOLD BE EXTRA CAUTIOUS IN DRIVING ALONG 
ROADS AND KEEP ALERT FOR POSSIBLE FLOODED AREAS.
