EFFECTIVE UNTIL 11 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF
SOUTHERN ILLINOIS...

JACKSON AND PERRY

EXTREMELY HEAVY RAINFALL HAS OCCURRED OVER MUCH OF JACKSON AND
PERRY COUNTIES IN SOUTHERN ILLINOIS LATE FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
THREE INCHES OF RAIN WAS REPORTED IN ONE HOUR AT AVA ILLINOIS AROUND
630 PM.  THE RAINFALL HAS BEEN HEAVY ENOUGH TO PRODUCE WIDESPREAD
FLOODING OF STREETS..STORM DRAINS AND LOW LYING AREAS.

BE ALERT FOR RAPIDLY RISING WATER.  STAY AWAY FROM FLOODING CREEKS...
