720 PM EST WED MAR 12 1986

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 PM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

CENTRAL KENTUCKY...GREEN AND TAYLOR

AT 715 PM RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER WEST CENTRAL
GEEEN COUNTY..45 MINLES EAST NORTHEAST OF BOWLING GREEN.  THE STORM WAS
MOVING EAST NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH. THIS STORM IS CAPLE OF PRODUCING LARGE
HAIL..DAMAGING WINDS AND DANGEROUS LIGHTENING AS WELL AS HEAVY RAINFALL.

PEOPLE IN THE WARNED COUNTY SHOULD SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY AND
REMAIN INDOORS U NTIL THE THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER PASSES.

REMEMBER..THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.
