000 TTAA00 KOFK 300009 TOROFK NEC003-107-139-300100- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED/EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORFOLK NE 709 PM CDT TUE JUL 29 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF NORTHEAST NEBRASKA...NORTHERN ANTELOPE...SOUTHERN KNOX AND PIERCE AT 7 PM CDT A TORNADO WAS REPORTED BY SPOTTERS BETWEEN ORCHARD AND ROYAL MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR. A TORNADO DESTROYED A GRAIN BIN 4 MILES EAST OF PAGE WHICH IS 6 MILES NORTH OF HIGHWAY 20. PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO SHOULD GO TO A BASEMENT SHELTER IF POSSIBLE...OTHERWISE GO TO A CENTRAL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR. ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION...PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF STORM SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY IN A BASEMENT SHELTER OR IN THE CENTRAL PART OF THEIR HOMES.
