THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 930 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

CENTRAL ILLINOIS...MACON

AT 849 PM CDT A FUNNEL CLOUD ALOFT WAS REPORTED NEAR BLUE MOUND
ILLINOIS..10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF DECATUR ILLINOIS. THE FUNNEL CLOUD
WAS MOVING NORTHEAST. THE FUNNEL CLOUD SIGHTING WAS CONFIRMED BY THE
 MACON COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES AND DISASTER AGENCY.

FUNNEL CLOUDS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE
OR NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BEa PREPARED TO MOVE
TO A PLACE OF SAFETY.
