THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 645 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

EAST CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA...NORTHERN BARNES...SOUTHERN GRIGGS AND
SOUTHERN STEELE

THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE CITIES OF HANNAFORD AND DAZEY.

AT 550 PM CDT A TORNADO WAS REPORTED ON THE GROUND 5 MILES NORTH
OF HANNAFORD NORTH DAKOTA..OR ABOUT 45 MILES NORTHEAST OF
JAMESTOWN NORTH DAKOTA.  IN ADDITION..FUNNEL CLOUDS HAVE BEEN
REPORTED IN THE DAZEY NORTH DAKOTA AREA BY SKYWARN OBSERVERS.

RADAR ALSO INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN THE SAME AREA.

IS AVAILABLE...GET INTO THE INNERMOST HALLWAY...STAY AWAY FROM
WINDOWS.  IF CAUGHT OUTSIDE GET INTO A DITCH...GULLY...RAVINE...{OR
EVEN A LOW LYING SPOT ON THE GROUND.  PROTECT YOUR HEAD.  ABANDON
CARS AND MOBILE HOMES.
