THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 745 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTY OF

NORTHWEST GEORGIA...LAMAR

AT 710 PM RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN LAMAR COUNTY
NEAR BARNESVILLE. THE STORM WAS ALMOST STATIONARY.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS DEFINED AS HAVING WINDS AT LEAST 58 MPH
AND/OR HAIL 3/4 INCH DIAMETER OR LARGER. IF THREATENING WEATHER
APPROACHES...TAKE IMMEDIATE PRECAUTIONS.

 IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES..YOU SHOULD GO TO A SAFE PLACE.
