THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1115 PM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF

NORTHWEST GEORGIA...CHATTOOGA

AT 1030 PM EST A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR
ABOUT 10 MILES WEST OF MENLO GEORGIA. THE THUNDERSTORM
WIAS MOVING TOWARD THE EAST AROUND 40 MILES AN HOUR.

 A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS DEFINED AS HAVING WINDS AT LEAST 58 MPH
 AND/OR HAIL 3/4 INCH IN DIAMETER OR LARGER. IF THREATENING
 WEATHER APPROACHES...TAKE IMMEDIATE PRECAUTIONS.
