THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1130 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF

NORTHWEST MISSOURI...PLATTE

AT 1045 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 15 MILES
NORTHWEST OF THE KANSAS CITY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, MOVING TOWARD
THE SOUTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR.

THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL.

THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE
OR NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE
TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.
