EFFECTIVE UNTIL 530 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

CENTRAL IOWA...JASPER

THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE CITY OF NEWTON.

AT 5PM..A TORNADO WAS REPORTED ON THE GROUND NEAR REASONOR..ABOUT
5 MILES SOUTH OF NEWTON OR 35 MILES EAST OF DES MOINES.

THIS STORM WAS MOVING NORTH AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

IF A TORNADO APPROACHES..TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY.  A BASEMENT..
INTERIOR HALLWAY..OR A ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR IS THE SAFEST PLACE
