THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS IUSSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE
UNTIL 730 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

SOUTHEAST WYOMING..EASTERN PLATTE AND ALL OF GOSHEN.

THIS INCLUDES THE TOWNS OF GUERNSEY...WHEATLAND...LINGLE...LA GRANGE
AND TORRINGTON.

AT 625 PM A FUNNEL CLOUD WAS SIGHTED BY A SHERIFFS DEPUTY NEAR THE TOWN
OF LA GRANGE IN SOUTH GOSHEN COUNTY...40 MILES NORTHEAST OF CHEYENNE.

PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS POSSIBLE TORNADO SHOULD TAKE COVER
IMMEDIATELY.  GO TO A BASEMENT OR A CENTRAL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE
LOWEST FLOOR.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING.
THIS STORM WAS ALSO PRODUCING LARGE HAIL...UP TO SOFTBALL SIZE...AS IT
MOVED INTO EXTREME SOUTHERN GOSHEN COUNTY.

CHEYENNE RADAR ALSO SHOWS VERY RAPID DEVELOPMENT OF SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS ;IN EASTERN PLATTE COUNTY NEAR WHEATLAND.  ALTHOUGH
NO SEVERE WEATHER HAS BEEN REPORTED IN PLATTE COUNTY...INDICATIONS ARE
THAT THIS STORM COULD PRODUCE LARGE HAIL AND POSSIBLY A TORNADO.
