THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

NORTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS...NORTHERN ESSEX

AT 450 PM A POSSIBLE TORNADO WAS SIGHTED JUST NORTH OF
LOWELL.  THE TORNADO WILL MOVE EAST ACROSS EXTREME NORTHERN
ESSEX COUNTY NEAR THE NEW HAMPSHIRE BORDER BETWEEN 5 AND
6 PM...THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF LAWRENCE..MATHUEN..
HAVERILL AND THE NEWBURYPORT AREA.

 THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY !

 THIS STORM IS ACCOMPANIED BY INTENSE LIGHTNING AND STRONG GUSTY
 WINDS.

   PERSONS SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY IF THREATENING WEATHER
 APPROACHES.
