SPECIAL MARINE WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 230 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE 
FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

NORTHWEST LOWER MICHIGAN...BENZIE AND MANISTEE
...THIS WARNING ALSO INCLUDES THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS FOR THE
COUNTIES JUST MENTIONED

AT 122AM EDT RADAR INDICATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER NORTH LAKE
MICHIGAN...20 MILES SOUTHWEST OF FRANKFORT AND 8 MILES WEST OF
MANISTEE MICHIGAN...ABOUTH 50 TO 55 MILES SOUTHWEST OF TRAVERSE
CITY.

THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TOWARD THE EAST NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM..GET TO A REINFORCED BUILDING.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE STRONG DAMAGING WIND..LARGE HAIL..VERY
HEAVY RAIN..AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING. THEY OCCASIONALLY DO SPAWN A
TUORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT.
