NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HURON SD
1052 PM CDT TUE JUL 29 1986

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1130 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

EAST CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...NORTHERN CODINGTON

SOME OF THE CITIES INCLUDED IN THE WARNING AREA ARE WATERTOWN..
FLORENCE..AND THE LAKE KAMPESKA AREA.

AT 1050 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 5 MILES WEST OF
 FLORENCE IN EXTREME NORTHWESTERN CODINGTON COUNTY.  IT WAS MOVING
 EAST SOUTHEAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR.

 THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS STORM.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO...SYOU SHOULD GO TO A BASEMENT
SHELTER IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE GO TO A CENTRAL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE
LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE. CARS AND MOBILE HOMES SHOULD BE ABANDONED FOR
A REINFORCED BUILDING.
